ESC is a new collection of urns, tombstones and sacred architecture inspired by the final destiny of the individual, the entire human race and the mystery that surrounds the entire universe.
Objects designed and created to symbolize birth, travel, origin, the cosmos and the eternal. Forms of the highest design that come from archetypal styles, in fact they already seem to exist in the collective unconscious, devoid of any creative artifice, already designed by nature; the colors are very evocative and do not alter the marble with its beautiful veins and nuances. For this reason, was chosen the marble of the Trambisera quarry by Michelangelo in Pietrasanta, where the sculptor stayed exactly 500 years ago.
The philosophy of the creators of esc and the designer Emanuel Gargano is clear: reverse and reject the idea, sad and baroque of "Memento mori" typical in our culture of death and in the furniture used nowadays. The objective is to return to the supreme moment of death, a universal meaning almost positive, not sad, but unique and central in the life of each living being, to be consecrated with the sober elegance of these objects of sublime beauty.
For the first time, after years of reflections on such deep issues, Emanuel Gargano decides to dedicate a complete collection of stone urns that express with intensity the concept of final farewell as a warning to reflect on the present life, transience and inconsistency of material things through eschatology: a doctrine investigating the final destiny of man that greatly affects the worldview and daily personal behavior.
