A new place for the venue at the first place!
Held in Modena since 1992, in 2008 TANEXPO moved to BOLOGNA Fairgrounds to satisfy its international nature and the increasingly request for surface.
TANEXPO takes place in the modern Exhibition Centre of Bologna, one of the most advanced in Europe.
BolognaFiere, well renowned for the number of events successfully held is able to host the first funeral exhibition, providing resources and efficient facilities. The exhibition halls 16 / 21 / 22 will host again TANEXPO on March 26.27.28, 2010.
BOLOGNA has always enjoyed a strategic location with highly efficient transport links to northern and southern Italy as well as to the centre of Europe, granted by the motorway and railway networks. The Guglielmo Marconi international Airport in Bologna is very well connected with all the most important European and overseas airports and it's linked directly to the city centre and to BolognaFiere by an effective AEROBUS shuttle service.

TANEXPO is held in the months of March or April during the springtime, every two years. This way meets the manufacturers needs, granting high quality to professionals demand and the steady growth at the international level.

TANEXPO is held under the patronage of FIAT-IFTA International Federation of Thanatologists Association and the two Italian leading Federations for the funeral sector, Fe.N.I.O.F. and Feder.Co.F.IT.. Also under the patronage of TANEXPORT - Italian Consortium of Funeral and Cemetery Products Manufacturers, ASSOCOFANI - Italian Association of Coffins manufacturers, IAFE - International Association of Organizers of Funeral Exhibitions and ASCE - Association of Significant Cemeteries in Europe.
